The Saramonic SR-SMC3 is a universal shockmount for shotguns and pencil microphones 19 to 25mm in diameter. It provides effective protection against shock, vibration, and handling noise when mounted on a camera or a boompole for film and video applications.
The SR-SMC3 utilizes a 4-point elastic suspension system to isolate your mic from unwanted mechanical vibrations that can muddy your sound. A quick-locking swivel and level controls provide 360° of rotation and 150° of tilt, allowing you to easily orient the microphone for optimal sound capture.
You can mount the SR-SMC3 virtually anywhere, without the need for additional adapters. Mounting options include a camera shoe mount for DSLR and mirrorless cameras and camcorders. Also available are 1/4"-20, 3/8"-16, and 5/8"-27 threaded mounting options for boompoles, tripods, stands, support rigs, and cages.
The mounting hardware is made of durable yet lightweight metal to ensure years of high-quality performance. Four replacement shockmount bands are included.
